Introduction |
This panel offers options for controling the appearance and layout of printed output from Crescat.
The font used in printing can be changed by pressing the “Set” button and selecting a font, variant, and size in the OS X font browser. It's recommended that you choose a fixed-width font. Note: If the printed material would be wider than the width of a page, Crescat will shrink the text to fit. This means that the font size you choose is a maximum size, rather than a hard specification. Print Background Colors, when set, causes the background colors of text, including any background color you set, to be printed. Otherwise, Crescat prints black characters on white, which is usually a better choice. Four items are available for display in the head and foot margins of every printed page; the item labels are self-explanatory. For each item, you can choose whether that item prints in the header (Top), the footer (Bottom), or not at all (Omit). Crescat does its own layout within those constraints. Note: While it is possible to specify all four items to go into the header (or all into the footer), in fact only three will be printed. |
